Premises Licence

This includes:

  • Completing and submitting the application to the licensing authority
  • Sending copies of the application to all Responsible Authorities
  • Producing an advert and placing it in the local newspaper
  • Producing the public notice to be displayed in the premises

We anticipate that this will take between 3 – 6 hours at £235 per hour. Total cost estimated at £705 – £1,410 (plus VAT)

Disbursements not included in this fee:

  • Plans to be included in the application (client to provide)
  • The application fee – this varies dependent on local authorities and is calculated in relation to the rateable value of the property.
  • The advertising costs – this depends on the local newspaper and how big the advert will be

Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as court fees. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.

The exact cost will depend on the individual circumstances of the matter.

If you would like us to complete and submit the application to vary the specified individual as a designated premises supervisor with the transfer of the premises licence we will do this fixed fee at a cost of £100 (plus VAT). Please note that there will also be a fee payable by the local authority to whom we submit the application to, for example Wakefield Council currently charge a £23 administration fee.
